Final National Conference

On the 26th September 2018 the 2nd National Conference on Internationalisation of Research and Higher Education in Iran have been held in Allameh Tabataba'i University.
 
Various members of the six Iranian Universities constituting the IHEI Consortium have been participated along with others Higher Education representatives of the country.
As part of the actions regarding Networking and Sustainability in the project, this conference aimed to boost  the  visibility  of  the  Network  at  the  national  level, disseminate  information  on  the  project as well as  present  the  results  of  the  project  achieved  to-date and  promote  dialogue  on  internationalisation  of  higher  education  at  the  national  level.
 
In line with these objectives, the conference consisted in various speech sessions, regarding topics such as Internationalisation of Research and Higher Education in Iran as well as the Requirements and Suggestions related to them. Speeches have been focusing also on more specific issue like the reasons for Iran’s Economic Underdevelopment and Its Aftermath on Internationalisation of Universities, the Evaluation of Credit Recognition Systems in Iran and the EU, the investigation of Instructional Methods in Iran’s Neighbouring Regions and finally an introduction to innovative theme as Virtual Education, a Solution for Developing Internationalisation of HE in Iran.
 
Thanks to the opportunity that this event gave to the participants, a report regarding the 3-Year Performance of the IHEI Project has been presented.
